frequently asked questions

General Questions

What kind of oil do you use?

We use full synthetic oil for all oil changes.

When, where and how do I pay?

You will pay onsite upon the completion on your oil change.

*The only exception to this is for monthly or fleet policies, which are paid for online.

Our technicians are outfitted with a Square Tap to Pay & Chip Reader and will use that to process your payment.

Where will you do my oil change?

We will complete the oil change wherever you are authorized to allow us; that also has a flat surface for the vehicle.

It could be at your office (if your company allows), it could be at your house, your apartment parking lot (if management doesn’t have a rule against it), it could feasibly be in a grocery store parking lot while you are shopping (assuming there is enough empty space for the technician to operate safely).

What if it is raining at the time of my appointment?

We will complete all scheduled oil changes rain, sleet, or shine. Our technicians have a canopy they can place over your vehicle should they feel the need to do so.

The only exception to that is if the weather is deemed unsafe/unreasonable to operate in.

Can I use multiple discounts together?

No. Multiple discounts cannot currently be used at the same time.

We will apply whichever discount is greater.

Do the Forever Deals discounts apply to fleet or family practices?

No. Forever Deal Discounts cannot be used with Fleet or Family policies.

Why do you need my VIN?

We use the VIN (vehicle identification number) to make sure we can accurately identify your vehicle without needing to bother you with additional questions.

Certain models of vehicles have a wide range of versions even within the same trim level. And sometimes these differing versions call for different oil weights. So, to ensure our technician arrives on time with the correct materials every time, we use the VIN.

Where do I find my VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)?

Your VIN is located in several places.

  1. On your tag registration
  2. On a sticker on the inside of your driver’s side door jam
  3. In the lower corner on the driver’s side of your windshield; visible from outside of the vehicle.

What does a VIN look like?

It consists of 17 characters that are made up of both numbers and letters.

If your vehicle was manufactured before 1981, your VIN number may have fewer than 17 characters

Do you charge more if I live further away?

We do not!

We do not charge for distance! You only pay for the service we provide to your vehicle.
